Pacific Gas & Electric issued a systemwide Stage 2 high-inventory OFO for Tuesday on its California Gas Transmission system, setting charges of $1/Dth for noncompliance with a positive daily imbalance tolerance of 5%. This followed a customer-specific high-inventory OFO that was implemented Sunday and then allowed to lapse Monday.

El Paso declared a Strained Operating Condition for high-linepack conditions Monday at three locations, with the imbalance tolerance set at 10%. “The milder weather in the southwest Arizona service area in combination with actual takes below scheduled quantities has resulted in a…condition with the system linepack currently above 7,900 MMcf,” the pipeline said. Its Washington Ranch storage facility was making maximum injections, it added.

Due to gas quality issues, ANR said it was limiting capacity at the Sherman Plant receipt point in its Southwest Area to 65 MMcf/d until further notice. Based on current nominations, this will impact pooling receipts from this location, ANR said.

CIG said it expects an outage at the Keyes South Compressor Station and the accompanying capacity constraint (see Daily GPI, June 1) to continue until July 30. It also reported beginning service Monday on the Wind River Lateral Expansion. With the modifications at the Muddy Gap and Rawlins compressor stations, the Wind River Lateral capacity at the Big Horn North constraint will increase from 82 MMcf/d to 105 MMcf/d, CIG said.
