CIG declared a force majeure event in reporting an unforeseen mechanical outage Wednesday at Morton Compressor Station (MRC) south of Springfield, CO in Segment Number 118. It planed to reduce physical flows at MRC from 382 MMcf/d to 360 MMcf/d Thursday. Firm capacity at the station is subscribed at 365 MMcf/d, CIG said, adding that while physical flows will fall short of the subscribed capacity, it will fulfill firm nominations through MRC. CIG estimated that repairs will be completed March 13.
Nautilus Pipeline is requesting bids for its purchase of about 210,000 Dth, with deliveries estimated to begin Monday at the Manta Ray meter at Ship Shoal 207. The gas will be used for replacement linepack related to the repairs of its system (see Daily GPI, Feb. 3), Nautilus said. Bids should be submitted by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org no later than noon CST Friday. Nautilus had estimated Monday that if all goes as planned and weather permitting, repairs were estimated to take another 10-15 days.
