Southern Natural Gas lifted Saturday the Type 6 OFO for short imbalances that was issued Wednesday. It also canceled capacity allocations Friday for Group 4-Chattanooga, Group 13-East Tennessee and Group 59-Tallapoosa.

MRT ended Saturday the System Protection Warning that was put into effect Feb. 2.

Kern River reported an outage of the Opal (WY) Plant Friday morning but said the facility was coming back up during the day. “Kern River and [plant operator] Williams Field Services will monitor the output of the plant over the next few hours and determine if cuts will be necessary for gas day February 16,” said an 11 a.m. MST posting on the pipeline bulletin board. Kern River said it would ask WFS to take any actions necessary for Saturday’s gas day to make up any shortage that occurred on Friday. Kern River also said linepack had increased by about 22,000 Dth Thursday but remained low in most of its system.

Citing gas quality issues, Tennessee shut in the Starks meter in southwest Louisiana Thursday afternoon until further notice. Scheduled Starks quantities were adjusted to reflect the shut-in effective with Thursday’s Cycle 2 nominations, Tennessee said, and it would hold scheduled quantities for Friday to the elapsed prorated volume.

Southern California Gas said 200 MMcf/d of border receipt capacity at Ehrenberg will be lost Feb. 26-28 while it relocates 1,400 feet of Line 2000 between Main Line Valves 13 and 14 in the Beaumont area.
