Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line has requested FERC authorization to sell supply lateral facilities in Texas to Copano Field Services/Agua Dulce LP for an undisclosed amount.

Transco proposes to sell to Copano Field, a subsidiary of Houston-based Copano Energy, 33 miles of up to eight-inch diameter lateral facilities in Duval and Jim Wells counties in South Texas.

There currently are two shippers — Upstream Energy Services and Noble Energy — that deliver natural gas into the Transco pipeline system at receipt points located on the Driscoll Lateral, and both have consented in writing to the sale, Transco said.

Copano Energy is a midstream company with operations in central and eastern Oklahoma and the Texas Gulf Coast area. It owns 4,700 miles of gathering and transmission pipelines and five gas processing plants with more than 800 MMcf/d of combined processing capacity.
