Pacific Gas & Electric did not extend a high-inventory OFO beyond Saturday.

Northwest estimates that repairs to pipe that was damaged last week due to land movement near Centralia, WA (see Daily GPI, Oct. 28) will require four to five days to complete. Based on its latest estimate, there will be no physical flow through the repair area Tuesday through Friday this week and limited flow Saturday, Northwest said. In its initial project plan, Northwest estimated that it would have to excavate up to 150 feet of pipe at depths up to 17 feet. In reviewing plans with the on-site construction team, Northwest said it has determined that it must now excavate over 300 feet of pipe at depths up to 26 feet. Northwest still anticipates being able to schedule upwards of 75,000 Dth/d south through the Centralia Cutout point for the first two days of the outage. For the remainder of the outage, Northwest is making arrangements with its customers and the upstream Westcoast pipeline to provide operational assistance in an effort to limit impact. In an effort to further mitigate customer impacts, Northwest said it will continue to take the following actions as much as possible: 1) Allow the Kemmerer Compressor Station to be overscheduled to the extent that Northwest can inject gas into Clay Basin and pull it out of Jackson Prairie; and 2 ) Allow shippers to draft the pipeline on a limited basis if arranged in advance.
