Pacific Gas & Electric issued a customer-specific low-inventory OFO for Thursday.

The Trunkline LNG terminal in Lake Charles, LA began an unplanned outage Wednesday to accommodate expansion tie-ins. Sendout has been reduced to zero and the terminal will not be able to receive LNG cargo deliveries during this outage, which is scheduled to last through Aug. 31.

CIG lifted Wednesday the Strained Operating Condition that it declared last Friday for its Uinta and Parachute Laterals (see Daily GPI, Aug. 23), saying shipper compliance with the SOC had been effective in resolving a high rate of unconfirmed transactions at Uinta Lateral delivery points that caused “a critical oversupply situation on that portion of its system resulting in higher than appropriate mainline pressures, which created problems receiving scheduled quantities of gas from the attached production areas.” In addition, the high usage of available capacity on the Uinta and Parachute Laterals resulted in CIG having very limited ability to handle imbalances caused by unconfirmed nominations on that portion of its system, the pipeline said.
