Dominion experienced a rupture Saturday on a 20-inch supply line to one of its storage facilities in Harrison County, WV. The blast occurred in a remote area and didn’t cause a fire or injuries, a spokesman said. The line was isolated shortly afterwards, and because it wasn’t a residential line, no one lost service, he said. The pipeline was continuing an investigation into the cause of the incident Monday.

Florida Gas Transmission let an Overage Alert Day notice for its market area that had been first implemented on July 17 lapse Sunday, then reinstated it Monday at 25% tolerance for negative daily imbalances.

CIG will hold a one-day open season Wednesday for 5,000 Dth/d of unsubscribed capacity that will become available Nov. 1. Receipts will be at Green River and deliveries will be made at Forgan. El Paso said Bluewater Station must be down for several hours Aug. 17 to accommodate additional testing of new turbines, reducing capacity of the San Juan Crossover by 45 MMcf/d that day.

TransCanada will be restricting services on its Alberta system’s (NOVA) 36-inch WAS Mainline Extension to allow for integrity work starting Aug. 12 at noon MDT, with a projected finish at 8 a.m. Aug. 15. Firm Service will be limited to about 55% of contract demand. All Firm Service transfers will be restricted to downstream transfers only, and no transfers into this area will be permitted, TransCanada said. See the bulletin board for a list of affected meters. All IT service will be restricted in segment 3.
