Western Gas Resources, Inc. announced Tuesday that John F. Chandler has been named chief operating officer and executive vice president of Western effective immediately. Chandler will be in charge of all day-to-day operations including exploration, production, midstream and marketing and will continue to report directly to President and CEO Peter Dea. Chandler joined Western in 1984 and most recently was executive vice president-upstream and marketing.

Constellation NewEnergy, has named Carrie Cullen Hitt, vice president – government and regulatory affairs, and Daniel J. Sullivan, vice president – marketing, reporting to Clem J. Palevich, president of Constellation NewEnergy. “These two strategic appointments bolster an already strong senior management team,” said Palevich. Hitt, who has spent more than 10 years in the electricity industry, has been employed by Constellation NewEnergy for the past five years as director – New England regulatory and government affairs. She will remain in Boston. Sullivan brings almost 20 years of marketing and branding experience to Constellation NewEnergy after holding key marketing positions at several Fortune 500 companies including IBM, Nabisco and Sara Lee. He comes to Constellation NewEnergy most recently from Tractebel Energy Services in Houston, and will be based in Baltimore. The company, part of the Constellation Energy Group, is a leading competitive supplier of electricity, natural gas and energy related services to commercial and industrial customers throughout North America.
