An outage of the TransCanada Midstream Caribou Gas Plant that
was scheduled Aug. 3-5 has been canceled, according to a WEI Field
Services posting on the Westcoast bulletin board.
Transco said Monday it has resumed scheduling makeup gas from
shippers with negative imbalances at all points. A note saying a
curtailment of such makeups upstream of Station 120 would begin
last Saturday (see Daily GPI, July 23) was based on a Thursday
morning bulletin board posting; that posting was superseded in the
afternoon by one saying the curtailment was to begin Friday (July
El Paso has extended turbine maintenance at the Lincoln (NM)
Station beyond its original schedule. The turbine is now expected
to become available Thursday, so San Juan Crossover capacity will
remain capped at 550 MMcf/d through Wednesday.
Destin Pipeline reported its Pascagoula (MS) Compressor Station
and the BP Amoco Pascagoula Processing Plant were shut in Friday
afternoon due to a power failure. Normal operations at both
facilities were restored that night.
