Pacific Gas & Electric extended a high-inventory Stage 1 OFO
begun Friday (see Daily GPI, July 9)
through Saturday but loosened the tolerance for positive daily
imbalances from 5% to 21%. Above-target linepack was projected
through today. PG&E's neighbor to the south, Southern California
Gas, declared a similar Overnominations Day for Saturday but had a 10%
Sonat, which had expected to complete repairs to the liquids
re-injection system of the Olga (LA) Compressor Station by today (see
Daily GPI, July 6), said Friday the
station will remain down until further notice due to unscheduled
problems. Upstream capacity on the 26-inch Main Pass Line will remain
limited to about 430 MMcf/d at 35 receipt points.
Transco has identified additional maintenance needed on Main
Line "D" that is outside the scope of a "Job No. 6" posting in
February. It will take two valve sections out of service for four
days, tentatively scheduled July 24-27. The work will impact
interruptible services in Tiers I, II and III, Transco said.
