James F. Whitesides has been named president of Ameren Corp.'s
trading and marketing subsidiary, AmerenEnergy in St. Louis, moving
up from vice president of energy trading. Whitesides had previously
been in forward and financial trading with Cinergy Power Marketing
Clarence "Joe" Hopf, Jr., is moving over from his job as
managing director, trading and operations at Cinergy to join
Whitesides as vice president, energy trading. Another recent
appointment is James K. Johnson as director of power trading.
Johnson had been with Commonwealth Edison where he had been manager
of wholesale energy trading.
