Complementing its integrated operations in Northeast Utah andwestern Colorado, Coastal Field Services, Coastal’s midstreamdivision, bought the Bluebell and Altonah gathering systems andprocessing plants located in the Duchesne and Uintah counties ofUtah. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Coastal bought 100% of the Altonah system from Denver-basedGary-Williams Energy Co. Coastal already had a 28% interest in theBluebell system, but purchased the rest from six different sellersincluding Gary-Williams.

The Bluebell system, which spreads over both counties, includes220 miles of pipeline connecting 270 wells to the Bluebell plant inDuchesne County. The plant has a capacity of approximately 25MMcf/d and is connected to Questar Gas Pipeline Co. and Utah GasServices transmission systems. The Altonah plant and gatheringsystem are in Duchesne County. The plant is currently idle, butpart of the fractionator is being used to process production fromthe Bluebell operations.
