El Paso returned its Blanco "D" turbine (see Daily GPI, June 1) to service Tuesday
morning, removing a 270 MMcf/d constraint on San Juan Basin
capacity. A problem with turbine vibration at Lincoln Station appears
to be under control, El Paso said, and it restored San Juan Crossover
capacity to 580 MMcf/d.
Saying returning parts failed to meet specifications, PG&E Gas
Transmission-Northwest delayed the return to service date of Unit C at
Station 5 until Thursday. Last week the pipeline had projected June 1
as the startup date (see Daily GPI, May
26). Unit 7-C is still scheduled to return to service June 10.
Northern Natural Gas expects 80,000 MMbtu/d at nine receipt
points to be impacted during June 8-9 maintenance on its Spearman
