A direct lightning strike occurred Monday at Transwestern’sBisti Compressor Station (San Juan County, NM), prompting thepipeline to declare a force majeure. Transwestern expected thestation to be down about three days, saying San Juan Lateralcapacity would be reduced to 700,000 MMbtu/d through Thursday.

Columbia Gulf was still waiting Monday afternoon for a divingcrew to arrive on-site to investigate a leak in the 24-inch linenear a West Cameron Block 643 platform. Bubbles were reported onthe water’s surface Thursday afternoon, a pipeline spokesman said,but the divers had to finish another job before moving to theColumbia Gulf leak. There has been no interruption of service, hesaid.

Pacific Gas & Electric issued a high-inventory Stage 1 OFOwith a 6% imbalance tolerance for Sunday but did not extend it.
