PG&E Gas Transmission-Northwest discovered contaminated oil
in the lubrication system of its Stanfield (OR) Compressor Station
late last week. The unit is out of service until the oil can be
replace; the pipeline estimates it will return on-line Thursday.
Because the work has the potential for limiting Stanfield receipts
from Northwest Pipeline, PG&E GT-NW is offering a blanket IT
discount of 1 cent plus fuel on the Starr Road-to-Stanfield path
A natural gas liquids line out of KN Gas Gathering's Douglas
(WY) Plant was taken out of service Saturday night due to
operational problems, affecting receipts by KN Interstate at these
points: Arminto Chevron Rich, Arminto Barrett Rich and KNGG Douglas
Plant. The line runs through a river in La Junta, CO, which
experienced severe weekend flooding. KNGG restored the line to
service at 10 a.m. Sunday; the temporary NGLs loss was offset by
using storage at Douglas, a spokeswoman said.
Kern River reported being notified Friday by operator Amoco
Production of a plant "upset" at the Anschutz Ranch receipt point.
Kern River said it anticipated that scheduled quantities for Friday
would be greatly reduced at both Anschutz and the Kern River
Painter receipt points. Anschutz was fully back on-line as of
Monday, according to Kern River's gas control department.
