The Guardian Pipeline will have a minimum capacity of 650 MMcf/d
and will be expandable, depending on the market response, to a
capacity of up to 1.1 Bcf/d. The pipeline already has signed a firm

beginning November 1, 2002, the project's planned in-service date.
The project will transport natural gas from interconnections

"The Guardian Pipeline will provide a competitively priced
alternative with flexible terms and conditions for transporting gas
from the Chicago Hub to northern Illinois and Wisconsin markets,"
said George Hass, Guardian project manager. "In addition, Guardian
