El Paso estimates one of the two compressor units at its Caprock(NM) Station will return to service by April 16, raising San JuanCrossover capacity to 600 MMcf/d from its current 580 MMcf/d. Itappears the other unit will remain unavailable until mid-May, thepipeline said.

Sonat was scheduled to begin the spring shut-in test of itsMuldon (MS) Storage Facility Sunday (April 4). Based on currentscheduling and anticipated demand for the holiday weekend, Sonatestimated Thursday that excess supplies would surpass its availablestorage injection capability after the Muldon work begins. It urgedshippers to have personnel available to respond Friday afternoon incase an OFO Type 6 became necessary. Sonat already implemented anOFO Type 1, effective Sunday, in conjunction with Muldonmaintenance, which reduces systemwide injection capacity by 36%.
