Galveston Bay LNG LLC and Galveston Bay Header System, aka GB Developers, have filed a request with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to begin the pre-filing environmental review process for a liquefied natural gas (LNG) facility that would be on the Texas City Ship Channel. The companies are proposing a liquefaction facility, export terminal and interconnected pipeline on Galveston Bay at Shoal Point. The facility would include three liquefaction trains, each with a nominal capacity of 5.5 million metric tons/year, and four LNG storage tanks. GB Developers are subsidiaries of NextDecade Corp.
