In the article “As U.S. Natural Gas Exports Grew in 2017, Power Burn Declined, EIA Says,” U.S. pipeline exports to Mexico were incorrectly stated. The Energy Information Administration’s (EIA) Short-Term Energy Outlook does not forecast individual pipeline exports to Mexico but aggregates them into one gross pipeline export figure with Canada. EIA currently expects total gross pipeline exports to Mexico and Canada to increase by 0.6 Bcf/d in 2018 and by 0.8 Bcf/d in 2019 to an average of 8 Bcf/d. NGI regrets the error.

In the article California Alternative Fuels Funding Offers Mixed Message for Natural Gas, it was incorrectly reported that renewable natural gas (RNG) fuel sources would receive $25 million total in state funding for 2018-19. In fact, RNG sources would share the funding with other alternative fuels. NGI regrets the error.
