In the Oct. 25 edition of NGI’s Daily Gas Price Index, the story “TransCanada Says Columbia Gas Explosion in Ohio Unlikely to Cause Disruptions,” said an explosion occurred at the Columbia Gas Transmission system meter station in Northeast Ohio. However, TransCanada Corp. has since clarified that there was no explosion or fire. It said residents instead heard pressurized gas flowing through a leak. The cause of the incident remains unclear.
