Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf has nominated Andrew Place, corporate director of energy and environmental policy at EQT Corp., to serve as a commissioner on the state's Public Utility Commission. He would replace outgoing commissioner James Cawley. Place formerly served as interim executive director of the Pittsburgh-based Center for Sustainable Shale Development and also held positions with the state Department of Environmental Protection. The state Senate must now confirm Place's nomination.
