A new gathering system for one of the Bakken Shale’s major producers in North Dakota, ExxonMobil’s XTO Energy Inc., has been completed, according to developer/operator Oklahoma City-based Enable Midstream Partners LP. It is Enable Midstream’s first crude oil and produced water gathering system in North Dakota. The system services XTO in its Little Missouri field with a maximum throughput of 19,500 b/d of oil. The Bear Den Crude and Produced Water Gathering System began construction in August 2013, with the initial segments of the system starting service last November.
